As a kindergartner, my parents bought me my first Brownie camera much like this one. But, the camera that changed my life was an Olympus OM1, bought in high school for the enormous sum of $370 while earning minimum wage. It lasted 20 years and was used to take the black and white photos shown.

Photo of three different style awards, one made of metal and wood, and two on etched glass. — This was a technically difficult photo, due to lighting and depth of field issues. The text was etched in glass on the back of the award, so the awards were shot backwards and then flipped in Photoshop.
